My experience doing the lake Wanaka tree was really fun and rewarding because I really liked when I painting the tree and saw the colour's and the tree coming together it was really satisfying and i would definitely recommend people doing this painting because the colour's remind me of autumn. I would like to say thank you so much for inspiring me to start painting.
I'm no artist! But after needing surgery and to be off work for 8 weeks, I thought this would be a good distraction and I was right! I enjoyed the concentration it needed and I'm really happy with the results. Only thing I'll do differently with the next one is layer on the paint a little thicker. Being my first one, I wasn't sure if there was enough paint to go thick. Trust me, there is AMPLE paint so go for it.
This was really hard for a beginner like me, but glad with the end product, gave up towards the end just used most of the green colours to complete the tree and background…
Will look great on my wall
Really struggled with the fine brushes. Head coming unstuck and falling off and getting lots of fly away bristles still attached that would smear paint around the edges of where I was trying to paint
Pretty cool. I love it.
Better to check all your colors first though. I had a very dark colour 23 when I was expecting some kind of pink. First time I get a wrong colour. I made my own colour 23 by mixing 2 other colours and it was great. I also changed a couple of colours in some places to match a bit better the model.
Enjoyed this one. I mixed some of the colours together in the sky to make the graduation a little less 'stark'. Very happy with the result. A beautiful painting I can't wait to get up on the wall.
I really enjoy spending time doing this picture at night it takes away the stress of the day as well as your creating a picture that will take pride of place.
Well look at that, anyone can be an artist - What a great way to unwind at the end of the day! So easy to follow and awesome to see your creation come together with each different number. Great that it comes with a frame!, really easy to put together. So much fun will definitely be getting another!
