I was terrible at art in school and never thought I'd be able to do this, but I am so proud and pleased with the result. Thank you for making me feel like an artist! I did find that some of the paint started drying up, especially the darker colours, even though I made sure to close the paint pots and painted each colour only 10 minutes at a time. Maybe I took too long to finish? This took me nearly 3 months.
Just finished my first paint by numbers. Loved how clear the instructions were & that the kit came with absolutely everything I needed. This was a dream to paint. So relaxing & I was pleasantly surprised at how vibrant the colours are. Glad I bought three as I can't wait to start another one!
This was my first go at paint-by-numbers. Fun to do and proud of the end result! Only criticism is that there were quite a few cells with no number on them, even on the printed chart, so I had to guess. The picture has turned out alright though, so my guesses must have been OK!
Really enjoyed painting Pohutukawa Tree, still painting Tui in flax bush. Just find it very satisfying, relaxing and seeing it all come to life , just magic. Will definitely be purchasing more when this one finished.
First try doing a painting and decided to do this as a Xmas gift but didn't expect it to be so large and detailed (novice showing). It took about 35 hours to complete but am super pleased with the result. Easy to do and I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.
Lots of fun.. haven’t finished but working on it! Numbers are really small so used a magnifying glass.. then eventually went and got my first prescription reading glasses…🙈😂
Only part way though my painting and really enjoying the canvas come to life.
The painting kit is well set out and easy to use.
I’m not really a painter but enjoying the experience.
I am 75 and have never done any art at all until this. I have had a heart attack and need to tone down my physical exertion so I thought this might be a good idea. I am absolutely loving it. I only do a small amount at a time but it gives me a real boost. I don’t worry if I go over the lines a bit or use a different colour . I do what makes it fun. Thank you . Wonderful rehabilitation.
I have seen other sites selling paint by numbers that look quite simple. I have seen some people's finished painting that look nice but what do you do with them.
There is no doubt at all the "Kiwi Paint By Numbers" is harder but the two I have done (the 2nd is only half done) have me wanting to find a place on my wall.
They take longer to do but the result is fantastic I think. Added to that is that they are New Zealand scenes so we are familiar with th and often feel that we have been there.
